Brake Masters #146

Went in cause my dealership said my break fluid failed. I was suspicious and went here for a second opinion. I was ready to complete the work here if it truly failed because they were cheaper than my dealership. They were honest and told me my breaker fluid was fine. I truly appreciate the honesty. Will come back for sure.

Service was good and fairly quick. My main complaint is their misleading synthetic oil change service advertised on a coupon for $49.99. Usually there are shop/disposal fees and taxes, which tend to add a few more dollars. I was charge $69.00, about $15 more than I expected. They should change their coupon from $49.99 to $64.99. That would be the honest thing to do. Probably won't go back.😐

We stopped in at brake masters this morning and they were “over the top” with their customer service! While waiting for our car, we were even entertained by Alexa and some pretty funny jokes! Dave was very honest and extremely professional and helpful! FIVE STARS for these guys. Mechanics were also on top of what was wrong with our Acura MDX!

This is the second time Dave, Lee, and the folks at #146 have blown me away with competence and just being great people. The work they did last year was top tier and just now they took care of something I messed up and ended up not charging me. Cannot recommend them enough. I’ll drive out of my way to come to them.

This review is a nice as I can be considering my experience....trust me. This store needs some serious attention by corporate. The shop manager with grey hair has ZERO people skills and was being condescending not only to the service techs, but walk-in customers too. I don't think he likes his job truthfully. And then there's the shop. It needs better managed because those techs were out there horse-playing and being obnoxious enough for us customers in the lobby to hear what was being expelled from their young mouths. I also did not appreciate being told that I had a problem under the hood that I KNOW for a fact didn't exist. They were just trying to upsell me into additional services, (AKA ripping the customer off because you don't think your customers have any common sense /knowledge
