We have taken cars to Brakes Automotive at least four times, to date, and wanted to give credit where it is due. The owner and manager, Amoris, is a really good person. We have come to trust him. He tells you clearly what he knows, what he suspects, and what tests he is going to run to finish diagnosing your car’s problem. Then, he fixes only what needs fixing, at a reasonable price. He has never tried to talk us up into a more expensive repair. He can use OEM parts, or third party parts, and will tell you where you can safely save money by going with third party. And most recently, we also learned this: he stands behind his work. We had one repair that did not last long, due to a defective part, and went back to him. I had such a great experience at brakes automotive! They were so flexible and accommodating getting my car in quick due to grinding breaks. Then when my ride was late dropping me off they stayed open 15 minutes late on a Friday to let me get my car back and still showed me my worn down break pads. They were honest and transparent with pricing and recommendations. I’ll be recommending to all my friends and family!

In October, I was referred to Brakes Automotive by another business contact. I had a gasoline smell coming from under the car and the engine did not run smoothly, and was hard to start. Amoris, the owner, was very attentive to my problem. After a thorough diagnosis, Amoris found that gasoline was leaking from the fuel pump fittings. He replaced the fuel pump and that corrected the problem. No more gas odors and the car is running well. Amoris is the real deal. I have finally found a mechanic that is honest, trustworthy and not overpriced!

Went into to see what might be wrong with my brakes recently. Was delighted to know nothing was wrong! They did a complete look and called me with the good news. The best is that he looked at it and didn't charge me a thing.. I could believe it. I'm telling everyone I know how professional they are.

I brought my F150 truck to Brakes automotive and Morris helped me decide what was wrong with it. The brakes were acting up with the master cylinder emptying the reservoir. Morris diagnosed the problem and the result was the engine was Hydro locked which meant that I needed a new engine. Morris indicated that he would not be able to accomplish such a big job and because the truck was 15 years old, suggested that it would not be worth putting the money into it. He did not charge me for the diagnosis and helped me decide to buy a new truck instead of trying to fix an old truck worth $8,000 with a $5000 engine.
