I had a unique situation. I bought some after market Bilstein front strut/coil assemblies for my 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I had the company I bought them from set them to the first clip spot which is the 0” “stock” location for the coils, cause I wanted to put my 2” leveling spacer on from my stock struts so I had the same ride height. The company I bought them from, recommended i put the coils in the 4th clip spot, 1.85” lift, and not use the spacers, and I will get the same ride height. I didn’t and Well, it made the struts too long. So I found Brakes Plus and spoke with Mike, the general manager, and his crew, said they could move the clip on the new strut to the 1.85” lift 4th clip spot and install them without the spacers, and I would still have the same ride height. Love the manager, so personable and helpful! I was quoting an hour for an oil change, and they got me out of there in less time! It is hard to find a good car place, and they are fantastic. So excited to have found somewhere good out in Queen Creek!

Went in for an alignment. They also inspected the brakes and said "front brakes were at 1mm, and they can grind into the rotors at any minute!!". (Paperwork noted 1-2mm) but as you can see from my "actual" measurements with expensive digital calipers, the thinnest pad was 2mm (not 1mm)... but close enough, will extend them a bit of grace here. However, the most egregious error was they said my rear brakes were at 3mm... clearly my rear pads were perfectly fine (between 6.5mm to 8.9mm). But, they insisted I needed both front AND rear brakes. I didn't do the brake service, went home did the brakes myself and saw they were off a bit on front brakes and WAY OFF on the rear brakes. When I went in to ask them about it, they said "Well, we didn't do a FULL brake inspection". I replied, "Yo
