I would give zero stars if I could . I think the positive reviews from others have to be fake . This place smells like a combination of strong old urine and stale smoke . We brought my dad here for cardiac rehab . The worker just shows you a bed with zero greeting or instructions except to tell you they have no meds until the next day . Bring your own everything because they have little supplies . The night nurse played loud music at the nursing station all night long and people were yelling . The place is super run down and doesn’t look clean . There was a cockroach running across the floor . This seems like a homeless shelter . We dropped my dad off at 8 pm and I picked him up at 6:30 . I really don’t know how we let him even stay that long . Our fault for not visiting.

If I had a choice I wouldn't be here either and I want out I have a heart problem and need surgery to fix it and this place don't even care about it and say that my chest pains are only gas when indeed that even the doctors at the hospital say that it severe and I need it done sooner than later but this place says that they don't have that in my records but I know that the doctors at the hospital puts that in the paperwork before you leave the hospital so I don't see why they are saying this to me so I had to call for an ambulance myself cause they never would of and it was serious enough to where they wanted to admit me again but the admit team said no at the hospital the ER doctor said with what was happening with the heart monitor that was hooked up to me and my blood pressure they told

I do not recommend! Worst nursing home you can ever put your family member in. The rooms are dirty and filled with flies. It’s a smell around the hallways and rooms. The staff isn’t on their toes when it comes to supervising residents who are blind or cannot move around willing. Also, they never get back to you when you want to get your family out for the weekend or discharge them. Very unprofessional! I should not have to keep leaving messages and you never get back. Staff is never on the same page. Communication off. Please don’t bring people here!

I have a loved one in this facility and if possible I will get them out immediately. The nurses do not care they are left soaking wet after baths for hours just laying there. Food is not edible, not just gross but inedible at times. Nurses stand around on their phones and gossiping rather than caring for the patients. Why are these nurses and caretakers in this position if they don't really care?

Aliya of Homewood. suggested that we put my sister in this place Bria of Chicago heights. my sister has Alzheimer’s. Had I known that this place looked smelled I wouldn’t put a dog in there somebody at Aliya is getting a kick back. because there’s no way that you would recommend this place. The walls is peeling. The ceiling is coming down.the shower, had water bugs she was only in there for one night and the next night the hospital called she had 14 stitches.the place need to be condemned.
