Terrible!!!!! Check engine light come on,so took it to Brown's. He said it would be 2 weeks! Left vehicle to have serviced .I called him week later ,he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. And that it was 23 years old and that you can't find parts ,for this vehicle (2001 Toyota 4runner) Any part of this SUV is available!! Went to pickup my vehicle and he said I owed him $488.00 I said for what you didn't fix ANYTHING ! He started arguing. WON'T be back ,and had told people about this . Several mechanics even said their customers have said the same thing.Arguing about the service problem and always $500.00

Let me just start by saying this place is the reason I learned to work on my own vehicles and hone my own mechanical skills. I drive a 1995 ford truck, it was my first and only vehicle for a long time as a 16 year old kid. The first time I went to browns was for a bad squeaking serpentine belt. He told me my tensioner pulley was “misaligned” so he replaced it. I paid the bill, and went on. The squeaking stopped but returned in a day or so, so naturally I brought it back. He looked it over once more, charged me a diagnostic fee, only to tell me “it’s an old truck, it’s gonna do that.” Seriously? And yes, I had to pay for his time to examine a problem that should’ve been fixed the first time around. Oh well. So I went home and did my research, someone online suggested I replace the serpenti

Used to be the best place in town but they've dramatically gone downhill and outrageous on prices. They won't allow any customer brought parts, even if new, instead they buy from the local parts stores that are about 3x the price of what the parts are normally. Used to be THE place but no longer.

We've used Brown's for years and have always been pleased with their expertise and prices. Tried to give them five stars but the site switched it to four.

Needed spark plugs(coils) replaced. It’s a 30 minute job. They charged a 300$ service fee for 30 minutes. Avoid this trap of a place and let it go under
