While traveling from Mississippi to Virginia in my Jeep, towing a U-Haul trailer, I noticed the strong smell of antifreeze—never a good sign on a long trip. Being far from home and in need of emergency repairs, I was naturally concerned about being overcharged or taken advantage of. Thankfully, someone at a nearby gas station recommended Brown’s Automotive at 12307 Kendall Road in Orange, VA. I took a chance—and I’m glad I did. The mechanic at Brown’s quickly diagnosed the issue and had me back on the road in no time. The repair was done professionally, honestly, and for much less than I expected. Excellent service with transparency across the board. I have taken two vehicles here with different issues and the issues have not only been resolved but before any work was performed all routes for the fixes were gone over. Pricing for said fixes were not inflated, especially for the work performed and in comparison to other shops. I never felt like I was in the dark about anything. Lines of communication remained open which put me at ease and not feeling like just a number in the que as with other shops. I can’t say enough good about my experiences with this shop. Will for sure be utilizing this location in the future for all repairs needed for my vehicles and if you are needing something repaired on your vehicle I would highly recommend this location.
