Brownstown Car Wash

Literally the worst car wash in all of Downriver. Don’t waste your money!!! They don’t even have dryers! They didn’t even have SOAP 😂🤦🏽‍♀️ It’s cold outside so my car was soaked with water and froze because the temp is so cold today. I am writing to the BBB about this company. My car literally has icicles on it. I literally couldn’t open my door. The whole car looks like this.

It’s hit or miss on whether the automatic car wash is open lately. It actually undercharged me the last time I went, but it also doesn’t clean the entire car very well. I went for a winter clean, and it cleaned the left side of my car fine, but left a row of dirt/salt along the entire right side of my car. I used to be pretty loyal to this car wash, but I’ve switched to another one just down the road that works much better, is nicer, and is actually the same price. I’ve never used the self-service bays or vacuums, so i cant speak to the quality of those, but given my last experience with the automatic wash, I probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Couldn't use the credit card reader. It wouldn't scan my card. Lost pressure in the rinse cycle, so I couldn't finish rinsing my car unless I put more money in the machine. I had already put plenty in, so I'm pretty disappointed. Lost at least 60 sec of good rinsing time.

My credit card was charged $24 for an $8 wash by accident. I have proof of transaction through bank statment. The phone number is no longer in service and i cant get hold of owner. Im hoping they read this and make this right. We can all chalk this up as honest mistake and still be in good standing. Respectfully, Mike Olson

I’m really back-and-forth with this Car Wash. I used to love it. But a couple months back when they raise the price the bay that I was in Me 3 1/2 minutes for three dollars. Anybody that knows about car washes knows that’s unreasonable. Especially since 50% of the time I had to call the owner for a refund because some function wasn’t working. The owner will work with you. He’s a good guy. I didn’t go there for a couple months and then I finally went back out of necessity now, they raise the time to five minutes and the soap seems pretty good. My last Car Wash was a five star experience, but for my past experience, I can only read it three. If they keep up the good work, I will be raising my review at this time. I do recommend this car wash. 👍🏼
