Buc-ee’s Official Car Wash

Buc-ee’s seriously dropped the ball on this one. They were advertising a $1 per gallon discount on gas with the purchase of “The Works” car wash right at the car wash itself. Based on that sign, I bought the wash, then went to fuel up expecting to receive the discount. When I got to the pump, there was no discount at all. When I asked for help, the assistant store manager couldn’t have been less helpful. Not a single apology, no effort to make it right, just a quick “that’s our policy” and a suggestion to contact corporate if I didn’t like it. I was told I’d have to buy another wash at the pump to qualify, which is absurd. At best, Buc-ee’s signage is misleading. At worst, it’s false advertising. If Buc-ee’s wants to promote deals, they need to make sure customers aren’t being misled and

When I travel to Nashville, I always stop at this Bucees for the car wash and BBQ. When you get gas, you have the option to add a car wash for $16 and get $1 off per gallon up to 15 gallons. So, basically, you fill up your car and get a great car wash for a dollar. Easy to navigate. Staff help you line up your car. Put it in neutral and enjoy the show! It starts with foam and a projection of the Bucees logo on your windshield. Then you progress through multiple foam, water, then air dry. BUT the foam is multicolored unicorn fabulousness. I'm 43 and I enjoy it so I can't imagine how much joy this brings children. It's like a little kids amusement park ride. I bet if you let them go in Bucees and get some treats before the car wash, you could make this a trip. Also, gets the bugs

This wash is great. Sponge brushes that are always being rinsed. Cool lights and colorful foam cleaners. One dollar off per gallon on 15 gallons. That makes you wash cost only a dollar. Free vacuums with air nozzles and oh yes a pre wash station to get those 100 mph bugs off first. Love it!

I went in for a car wash today. I’m really disappointed because this is what my car looked like after it didn’t even look like it was washed. This is really interesting because the first time I ever got a car wash. They were really good but now I guess they’re slacking. I’m so disappointed. I will not be washing my car here again. Bucee’s y’all are better than this!

The car wash does work pretty good.. however, 1. When I paid for “the works” at the pump, I wasn’t expecting “tire shine” to be an add on when entering the wash. Then 2. When I tried to use the vacuum.. the wash code was invalid. I really needed the vacuum. It didn’t work. I would have appreciated this information BEFORE deciding to buy a wash.
