Buchert Ridge Community

I moved into Buchert Ridge in 2018 after attending an open house at the community. From my first moment in the model, I knew that I wanted to live here. The homes are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the neighbors couldn’t be more welcoming. I truly love living in this community and willingly share my experience with prospective residents that are driving through and “looking” for a place to settle. Living here at BRC has taken away all the stress of maintenance and repair of a home and given me a whole new group of friends that I enjoy spending time with.

Seven years ago I took advantage of an open house at Buchert Ridge Community. Best thing I have done for myself. Felt like home from the minute I walked into the sample til present day. Maintenance is just a phone call away which was important to me. Staff is friendly and never make you feel like you have 2 heads when you tell them something is not working as it should. Ladies, you know what I mean! I know nothing about repairing anything other than replacing a light bulb or tightening a screw….maybe? This was perfect for me. They even come after hours and on weekends if needed. Lawn and shrubs are taken care of also….what a blessing. My father has been a resident of Buchert Ridge for seven years and needed to have a renovation completed in his home. I called the Buchert Ridge office and spoke to Michelle, who had secondhand information about some family dynamics and informed me of something she had no knowledge about and moreover, it was incorrect information. This significantly interfered with the process of obtaining reimbursement from a grant provided by the VA that my father was entitled to for the renovation in his home. My father was not happy and denied what Michelle had said. Michelle clearly overstepped her boundaries and was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Also, if you are expecting any community activities in this place, they are few and far between. The only activity that my father can participate

I retired in 2006 and moved into Buchert Ridge Community in November 2007. I chose BRC because it was affordable, pet friendly, small and had a friendly, supportive staff. My family is relived and happy that I am in such a wonderful secure community but can still maintain my independence. Now with no worries about house problems I am free to enjoy my retirement to the fullest - from a quiet day reading, taking art lessons, working in my garden, walking my dogs, going out to dinner or traveling with my wonderful neighbors. It does not get any better than this.

From my first phone call to schedule a tour to the date of my move-in, my experience with these folks has been flawless. Absolutely everything is done without hassle or stress. The staff is at the same time warm, friendly and professional. My home was fresh, beautiful and like-new on move in day and my neighbors have been pleasant and welcoming - I feel very blessed to be here.
