Budget Car Rental

Have had a reservation for weeks that makes you tell them what flight you are arriving on. Get into Boise ID on time and the line for budget is 30 deep! I’ve never seen such a thing in my 35+ years of traveling. It’s a Thursday on a non holiday weekend! Why would a line be sooooo long. The 4 other rental car counters don’t have a line but 4-5 people (normal). Thought I’d be smart so booked a reservation with enterprise… got out of budget line went to enterprise only to find out they’re not accepting new reservations even though I have a confirmation number. So now back in budget line that doubled while I was gone. Is this Boise or the rental car companies???

Had an amazing experience!! John helped me right away and was incredibly friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Gave me some excellent tips for my journey home and made sure I was well informed before leaving. I can’t thank him enough for starting my trip off with a smile. Fantastic customer service! Rented through Costco rental car And showed the paper at the counter . Agent was friendly , helped us and sent us to get the car in about 10 mins . Car was clean , just what we rented and we had no problems . Tank was full of gas and we returned it full - gas station is just outside the airport . Check in was very fast - and we were on our way . Would recommend Budget and will use them for our next trip .

Do not rent from this company! I have rented from Avis and Budget for decades without issues. This location is a scam. I filled up the rental car the night before. Drove across town to the airport and they charged me $30 for 2 gallons of fuel it took to drive 15min across town. Unbelievable!!!
