Budget Car Rental

No issues at all with Budget. I got there with no wait to pick up my car and was checked in and on my way within a few minutes. I even arrived about an hour and a half early, and they were happy to accommodate me. The agent at the desk during check-in was friendly and welcoming. The garage is well organized, and the male worker at the booth was also very helpful—he clearly explained exactly where the car was, which I really appreciated, since at other places I sometimes have to hunt around for it. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience.

Had a reservation and they told me sorry we are sold out. You can go pick up a car 30 miles away and can’t guarantee they will have it when you get there. I booked through Costco and it was very stressful arriving and not having what I thought was going to be our transportation. The woman at the counter was not apologetic at all. I called customer service and was told that since I didn’t prepay it was not guaranteed, to maybe prepay next time. I spent 60 Dlls in Uber just to get there to pick up the car. Think twice before booking here. Wish I could give them 0’stsrs but that is not an option here.

It’s sad, to have to subsequently write a bad review about budget and then run over to National Car Rental Google page and write a glowing review about them. But they both deserve the reviews. You can really gauge a companies core values in times of stress (or distress). Atlanta, I’m sure, has so many cancellations and change of plans, and for a Mecca of an airport, the resources should be plentiful. Well, that exact thing happened; my flight was cancelled and I decided I wanted to drive from Atlanta to South Carolina. So I ran on to my business preferred site (concur) to book a one-way rental. I get the confirmation via email, and was prepared to grab the car and be on my Mary-way. Despite being a budget member (with a so-called perk of skipping lines), I walk up to the counter about 2 h

Unlike, the car rental the next counter over (previous review). The customer service was TOP notch at Budget. There were two agents trying to help at once-Ry and Shanel! They were both amazing and friendly. My wait time at the counter (5mins) then straight to the vehicle. The vehicle was clean and leaving the garage was even simpler the the previous rental company. Returning the vehicle was a very simple process. Great Job Budget Car Rental Hartsfield Jackson! Good Day!

Budget is truly a great description of what you can expect in terms of customer service. When I arrived, I found myself in a long line, even though all other rental companies had half the line size, if any! Other companies had throttled their reservations when they ran low, I know because I tried renting through Enterprise and Hertz before settling on Budget. Budget refuses to follow through on their reservation. The customer service representative was rude and got an attitude with me because I was upset about missing a business meeting due their inability to HOLD a reservation. The reservation was set for noon, I was told it would be delayed by an hour and a half… Update: 2 hr 30 minute wait — called Customer Service, the only thing she could do was forward me to another CS rep to file
