Budget Car Rental

If I could give zero stars I would. Rental reserved for 12:00 today arrive at 11:59 and employees are gone for the day. It’s Christmas Eve and I’m leaving for a family trip to Disney and now royally screwed. Called Budget customer service countless times and was hung up on. There were several customers at the location with us trying to return cars and pick up rentals. You all just screwed up a lot of peoples Christmas plans. We travel frequently and will never use you all again.

SCAMMERS...The tattooed bulldog looking girl is lazy, unprofessional , rude, and nasty. She literally was insulting an 80 yr old woman. Tried to give her a big van to drive out of state. Finally got her a car and refused to walk around the car with her or answer her questions. Then she threatened to have her husband come there when I told her she needed to help the woman. Tried to turn a 400$ rental into a 650$ rental. Car was filthy when she said she cleaned it. Ive rented cars all my life and this is the worst place ive ever come across. Save yourself the headache. I think she gets commission and thats why the price is always higher once you get there. EVERYONE I know that has gone here has had a problem. Idk how shes gotten away with all her antics but my advice is DO NOT RENT FROM THI

Stay away from downtown Dayton OH Budget. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I rented a full-size SUV and was offered a minivan instead. They gave me a standard SUV that reeked of cigarette smoke and was in need of maintenance. Instead of working the issue, the rude representative passed the buck to the Dayton Airport who was unable/unwilling to assist. 24 hours later I finally get a worn Tahoe in which the 3rd row seat didn’t let all the way down. I spent 2 days of a 7 day vacation trying to get what I paid for. What a nightmare! Do yourself a favor, rent anywhere but Budget.

Would not recommend..I had a reservation, went to pick the car up and the lady at the counter was extremely rude. Her name is Vickie. I have a corporate discount that she refused to honor because she said I was trying to rent for free..from the moment I walked in she was down right nasty..she asked if I had the credit card from a previous rental to see my discount code.. I originally thought I left my cc at home but when I went back to my car it was there. I immediately went back inside to provide that card , she then said she wasn’t going to honor it because I was trying to get a free rental. I wish I could give Budget Car Rental zero stars. My recent experience was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Not only was the customer service abysmal, but I also encountered something far worse—a blatant display of racism from the lady behind the counter. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with rudeness and condescension. The woman at the counter acted like she couldn't be bothered to assist me, even though I had a reservation.
