Budget Car Rental

The price was perfect for the monthly rental fee. BUT! THERE WAS NO CARS AVAILABLE. I was told that they were waiting for vehicles to be returned, and I could pre- pay for the next available vehicle that was turned in!!!! I decided to wait until my own vehicle was repaired.

Avoid if at all possible. Booked a reservation via Priceline at around 1:00, go to pick up the car at 5:00 and they're sold out along with refusing to do anything to help. Suggestion was for US to call another location to see if they'll honor the reservation. Haram business, zero service.

I booked a car for two days through the Budget website (prepaid, no third-party sites). When I arrived for pickup, I was told they didn't have a single vehicle available. After walking 15 minutes through the snow to get there, I received no apology; instead, the staff told me to call the company myself to request a refund or find an alternative. When I called, the only alternative offered was a pickup at DTW airport for double the price. It is baffling that a company wouldn't cover the price difference when they failed to provide the service I already paid for. I refused to travel 20 miles just to pay twice as much. I eventually settled for a refund, but my plans were ruined. They clearly do not value their customers' time. AVOID THIS PLACE!
