Budget Car Rental

This team was top notch. Made a reservation ahead of time like an adult. We were in and out in 10min, with expectations explained. Checking in the vehicle was a 5 min deal and great shuttle drivers getting us to the airport.

If you use this Budget rental facility, BE CAREFUL TO CHECK YOUR CAR! They gave us a Taos VW and within minutes of getting on the highway, we will pulled over by Texas State Police. The car did not have the required front license plate, which as an rental agency in TX they should have known, and didn't bother to check. The statet trooper gave us a warning, luckily with no fine. This was not only an unpleasant experience but we lost time on our vacation having to go back and get another vehicle. The staff brushed it off, claiming, "Oh, sometimes plates fall off." Be safe and don't use this company on Grimes St., Harlingen.

We flew in on Sunday and I had a rental arranged with one of the companies. I spent so much time trying to figure out where my rental was coming from with no success. I usually book with budget anyways so we decided to head their way anyways. I get there and im beyond frustrated due to the fact I know I booked a rental with one of the companies on site at the airport. The manager sees my frustration and sees I have my 2 children with me who are beyond exhausted from flying all morning. What does he do? He gives me the cheapest deal I've ever had with a rental right there on the spot. I wanted to cry for how much he just took the stress off my shoulders. Thanks to Jason, we got to continue our vacation with peace at mind. This is why I rent with budget. Customer service is always top notch.

Hassle free. I booked online, picked up my car and returned it without a hitch! Staff was friendly and courteous. The prices were very reasonable. (Midsize vehicle). We will rent again.

If I could post -1 star, I would. Worst experience ever. The rude team member who thinks it's appropriate to yell at female customers. I had to tell the gentleman to stop yelling at me and to check his tone. Thankful I was masked up while he was yelling at my face. I had to back up twice. The car was disgusting. I had to clean and sanitize the interior for fear of catching something from the vehicle. Never again lesson learned Enterprise I will forever use your services from this point forward. I was told by another manager at a different location than the gentleman and the manager of this location are famous for treating customers poorly, but they continue to remain open with no consequence from anyone. Beware, stay away from this location.
