Budget Car Rental

We rented a car for Christmas. The experience started up poorly because they charged us for a day before we got here and would not take it off. Then they bait and switched us- we reserved the car- prepaid for the entire week- but when we got to the counter she gave us a whole separate bill that was 3 times what we prepaid. So instead of $400 for the week they were trying to charge $1200 for the week. They told us to call customer service. So we called customer service who stated they would rectify the issue and when we returned the car we’d pay what we had prepaid. Well, when we returned the car, they charged us the $1200 which we never agreed to and I would never pay $1200 when I could go the the next counter over and rent an enterprise for $400 for the week which is who we usually us

Our rental experience with Budget was great! Matt at the front desk was absolutely outstanding — friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Made reservation 2 months ago. Got off flight and were told they had no cars available and didn't know when they would get them. What is the point of a reservation? Great customer service... Never again for Budget or Avis.

Car was clean and newer, probably 21' or 22' Traverse. Rented online and prepaid, picked up with no issues. Customer service was friendly and quick. Although, this location isn't that busy at any time that I have seen. Returned the vehicle without issue. They did charge me $3.22 for .4 gallons of fuel though. If they had a gas station closer, maybe I wouldn't have used that .4 gallons. I'm not gonna lose sleep over $3 though. Will rent again when needed.

My son’s flight was canceled. Budgets policy is to hold the reservation for 24 hours if you are late because of a flight disruption. I tried calling several times throughout the day, no answer. I finally called the 800 number. The representative told me the reservation was canceled and there was nothing he could do to help other than make another reservation for a less expensive vehicle but it would be about $150 more than the original reservation. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He refused to let me speak to a supervisor, told me I was holding up an active line, and then hung up. Horrible customer service!
