Budget Car Rental

No one never been this disrespectful to me like that. English it’s not my mother language but you work on an airport so be aware that you will have people from abroad. If someone ask you to explain and tell again what they have said it’s just normal. You don’t have to get mad with that and show that you are upset. It was just unbelievable.

Please do not rent from Budget/Avis. Their cars smell like smoke and they don’t service their cars. I rented a car, told the representative it smelled like smoke, he gave me another car that smelled the same way plus it was filthy dirty. He said he would only cancel my reservation or I’d have to choose between the two. They had already ran my credit card so I had to keep the first one and he said I could come and get it switched out the next day. Well now I’m also dealing with a bad tire on the car and they refuse to switch it out, stating that they either have no cars capable of going on one way trips or that they have to service their new reservations before they can accommodate me. Hidden Fees and Disrespectful Service – Do Not Book with Budget/Avis I originally booked a rental car with Budget expecting to pay around $647 for 8 days. But when the reservation summary came through, the total had jumped to $902, thanks to a bunch of hidden fees—including vague facility and recovery charges that were never clearly explained upfront. That’s a $200+ surprise I didn’t sign up for. When I arrived to pick up the car on a Saturday afternoon, things went downhill fast. Even though my debit card was accepted online, they refused to honor it in person. I then gave my credit card, but they couldn’t get it to work, despite trying several times. This is the worst location I have ever dealt with, the staff is extremely unprofessional, and even when you book 1.5 months in advance they will never have your car class. Burton is the only professional employee at this location. I reserved a suburban style vehicle( I needed the space) they gave me a minivan. I reserved a minivan( they have suburban) but they are trying to give me a smaller vehicle. The cars constantly smell like illicit substances. ( I refuse to take a vehicle that smells that way) I was pulled over and searched along with my minor child because of the smell( I stopped renting with that company) now I will have to find another company to patronize. I shouldn't have to time my pick-ups around the only competent employee. Do better by your customers.

After dropping off my car, I was charged undisclosed fees. I've never had this done with any other rental car location before. Beware renting from this location.
