Budget Car Rental

Rented a car here and the employes never showed up to work, had to pay over $700+ on the spot to rent from another company. Called Budget and could not get a hold of them so disputed the amount from my CC. Budget claimed it was hear say and the CC company sided with them. i called Budget and they said I would get a refund as it was their fault then went back on their word due to the CC company. Absolutely disgusted and will never rent from them again. We had to drive across the state of WI twice to return the car to the right airport. They stole $300 from me.

Understaffed location. Took over an hour to get rental car and I was the only customer. There is no parking lot attendant so guy at front desk has to walk up to the parking lot and back every time he needs to check on anything. I was given a car that the bumper cover was coming off and he didn't want to give me another vehicle. Luckily I noticed it before exiting the lot and then had to go through a maze to find the budget area inside the parking ramp. Then had to go back downstairs and have a damage report filled out because he didn't want me to have another vehicle. Report was to indicate damage to the vehicle was done prior to my rental. There are only 20 stalls so not a lot of vehicles and choice is not an option. I chose this location because it was a few minutes from my home compared

The agent who helped me was the best, Felix. This man made me feel like a friend. He remembered my name on check-in. He was very informative and helpful. The car was clean and it's like he knew what we were going to need for the trip and picked just the right vehicle. We had such a great time that we made other unplanned stops along the way. We are going to be returning soon for another trip. Highly recommend.

I travel to MN few times a year to see my mother and I always rent a car from this location. Gentleman there named Felix has been a great help every time. He is courteous, professional and always willing to help. Highly recommend 🙏

We rented a car from the downtown Minneapolis location on a Saturday last weekend, and the store was supposed to open at 8am; the door wasn't unlocked, however, until 8:15am after a crowd of impatient people were bunched up and ready to get inside. Of course, there was only one employee there to attend to everyone. We finally got our car about 40 minutes later. The car had a couple of bad dents/scuffs, as well as a cracked windshield; of course, it was also pretty dirty inside. Don't they have people at rental car companies to clean their vehicles? I gave 2-stars because the car (with over 50K miles) ran fine. I rented here because of the convenience, but I will forever avoid Avis/Budget; they don't seem to care about providing quality customer service or clean vehicles.
