Man… what a bad experience. This will be the last time I ever rent a car from Budget. I made an online reservation to pick up a car at the Murray, UT location on October 22nd at 8:00 AM. I received the confirmation and receipt — everything looked set. Then the day before, I got a call saying they changed the pickup location to Salt Lake City, adding an extra 35–40 minutes to my trip. That alone was frustrating, but it got worse. On the morning of the 22nd, around 7:00 AM, they called AGAIN telling me the car wouldn’t be ready at 8:00 — it would now be 9:15 AM. I have made a reservation and then after reading all of the reviews choose to cancel it and pay $150 more for a car thru another agency with better reviews. I need a car when I need it and can't take the chance with a place that has so many bad reviews.

I will never ever in my life rent a car from this place again. I recommend everybody else to stay clear from these crooks. Me and my wife paid for our car online went to pick up the car the next day the lady there at this office fought us up and down with bad customer service telling us we need to pay $500 now up front Evan know we already paid online. So we call the online customer service they talk with the lady and with out asking us they cancelled our first deal with the payment online said they would refund us that money and for us to just pay the $500 up front so we did. They told us we would get a $200 refund once we brought back the car clean and full tank.
