I come here about once a year, and I feel like every time I come here I have an issue with Budget. This time, I reserved a full size but when I got here they have no full size available and rather than upgrade me to a larger vehicle at the same rate, which she was unwilling to do, they downgraded me to a smaller vehicle. I have yet to travel here and rent a car from Budget and have anything close to a great experience. I still gave 3 stars because the car isn't a POS, at least. I'll have to start using Enterprise
Oregon people are so nice and my first experience with anyone when I got off the plane highlighted just that! Team worked quickly to keep the queue moving and to get everyone on the road. The staff behind the desk was easy to talk to. Renting a car is usually stressful. Insurance upsell nonsense… Not in Redmond! Thanks all! Never change

All the folks at the Budget car rental counter in Redmond -- and especially Ethan -- are great. Over my week-long rental, Ethan helped me out several times with a few minor issues and challenges with my car. He took the extra time to work with me, and I really appreciated it.
Initial check in was nice and easy. But got a car that immediately DIED upon arrival to my destination, requiring reload of all luggage, 30m jumpstart in cold weather, drive back to airport for car switch - totally inconvenient, hours of hassle & stress, during the holidays.. And no acknowledgement of the hassle or even saying ‘I’m sorry this happened’ or anything at all. I know cars die and break, but even a sympathetic agent would have been fine and resolved much of my annoyance. Also, the exchange car had a used coffee cup in there (so wasn’t clean). Finally the agent offered a free tank of gas when I asked her what they might do for the hassle and to offer some help with customer service. Return was easy.
