Budget car rental

We have been waiting 2 hours for a car we reserved months ago. We are not the only ones. They are still advertising they have cars available. The guy at the counter stated they don’t have drivers to bring the cars. What a joke. We are watching all the rental places near us move cars and help customers. They should not have a sign up stating they have cars available.

Though they might have limited cars, but the staff is definitely friendly and super efficient. Don’t navigate to the car rental, navigate to Golden Nugget hotel instead.

Wanted to thank Nichole a 2nd time for amazing customer service, and getting me in a car quickly. My son just moved here for 2 years and we will only use Avis when we visit!

Booked a reservation, contacted an agent knowing I'd be getting in after hours. They said no problem, they'd let me know how to access my car the day of. No call from Budget, I called them and was informed my reservation had been canceled without my knowledge. They offered to apply a credit to my current reservation. After I returned the car was charged 3x what I was told. Customer service now says the discount CAN'T be applied to my current reservation and I was charged an additional $500 for my task trained service dog which is a clear violation of the American Disabilities Act. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET. Terrible customer service, they will lie to you and change their story as its convenient for them.

Great service by Andrea today at Budget State Line. While on vacation we experienced a flat tire in North Lake Tahoe and were told to drive to the closest budget at State Line. Andrea was ready with a replacement car for us. She was kind and friendly which made our not so great car mishap that much better.
