Budget Car Rental

I rented a car 11/6 /25 yesturday, I told the customer service I was returning the vehicle on a one way trip to San Diego Miramar road just before the office was to close at 6 pm the following day . I asked specifically the dollar amount when I drop off the car in Miramar at 6 pm He said $130 , I said I can’t return it when they close at 6 pm they have to be open. The time of the rental was very specific !!! He said $130 !! I arrived T 450 pm in Miramar to be billed double !! I called him on the phone while at Avis back to temecula , he then lied and said he told me that would be a 2 day rental . I will ask for cameras to be pulled ,by corporate office he did not tell me $260 He told me a one way rental returning at Miramar I was very specific for the whole rental , to temecula office ,

I was charged for damages that were already on the vehicle. I had an inspection receipt from this location. I had video and photo evidence. Still got charged for a crack in the windshield. Now I'm in a battle with Budget/Avis customer service. I blame THIS location for NOT entering the damage in their system. Either Budget/Avis are purposely scamming or they are hopelessly inept. Go rent from another company. You get what you pay for. I'm so pissed.

Booked a car 2 days in advance. Showed up to pick up, waited 10 minutes while person in front of me rented a car (which was fine). When it was my turn next, the women working asked what I wanted. Told her I had a reservation, she asked for my name, I gave it to her, she checks her list then informs me they have no more available cars. I asked how that can be since I had made a reservation. Was told she was sorry but she has nothing. Blamed it on the fact that it was ComicCon weekend (an event over an hours drive away). Offered no other solution, didn't seem to care that I am now stuck without the car I needed for weekend travel, despite my advance reservation. She offered to call 2 airport locations (more than an hour away, and 15 minutes before closing time) to see if they had any cars, o

I came in with a complicated situation involving changing cities, drop off points, and a whole mess, and she handled it all with grace, speed, and a smile. In a world where great service is hard to find, Daisy stands out. She is helpful, kind, and truly goes above and beyond. Budget is lucky to have her, and so was I.

Booked a van 22 days in advance. They call me 2 days prior and confirm reservation and even ask me when I will be picking up the vehicle. Day before at 4:18 pm they call me to say they are sold out and will not have the van. We are going to a funeral out of state and now are screwed having to find a new rental last minute. Horrible company.
