Budget Car Rental

36 hours before my move, they called me to tell me that they didn’t have a truck. They’re only option was for me to drive all the way down to San Diego to pick up a truck. Absolutely unbelievable! I highly recommend not going to this establishment.

Unfortunately disappointed - they canceled the day before, via a personal text message - and no availability after that for 3 weeks so I ended up having to pay 3 times the price at other rentals - bummer - I wish their website would have prevented me from booking if they were not going to be available to rent me a truck

I thought my experience was exclusive to my experience, sadly apparently this is a regular occurrence at the Vista Budget Rental! I went in for a rental. This was my first time using a Budget location but not my first time renting a car in California. To say it was an impossible task would have been a massive understatement!!! First the man at the counter found it necessary to scold me for being late! When I pointed out he simply just closed up, went to lunch (answers why no one bothered to answer the phone when I called to inform them I would be late) and that I was the one waiting, he got extremely agitated as if I somehow challenged him. They wanted to make me buy their insurance even though I presented them with my very valid AAA insurance. Lastly, they are the only car rental company
