Burien Japanese Auto Service Inc

I've been going to Burien Japanese Auto to have my cars serviced for at least the last 20 years. I have always had nothing but good experiences there. The mechanics are top-notch. I've had all of my oil changes and 30k maintenance done. Fortunately, my cars have been reliable and I think a battery replacement is about all of the other work needed. The father of Tanner, current manager, and Dan staffed the service desk for many years. I never heard them nor Tanner and other current employees give a customer a line of bs concerning the work that needed to be done on their vehicle. These guys have always been totally honest with their customers. Recently I was there to have an oil change done on my 2019 Subaru Forester. It still has the oem Falken tires which even though they have low mileage

These guys are superb. Brought my Mazda3 in for the first time with what I thought were brake issues. They checked everything and called me telling me they could find nothing wrong. Charged me nothing. Finding an honest, trustworthy shop is gold. I will definitely be going back when I do (eventually!) have a problem. Thanks, Tanner! -Bryan

Got a turn signal bulb replaced. Staff was super friendly and quick. I was in and out within 10 minutes and it cost me less then $3.

I have been going to Burien Japanese Auto Service for about five years. First heard about then reading reviews in Consumer Checkbook. I wanted better pricing and service than I was getting from the dealership. That’s exactly what I’m getting. Tanner is a great customer service manager- as are the rest of the service team. They are very knowledgeable and clear about what needs to be done and what it will cost. If it is a problem that they can’t do they let you know. Two of my vehicles are an American pickup and van. They let me know that the electrical problems were very complicated and perhaps the dealership could have a better solution for my aging vehicles. They also gave me a very good break on the analysis that they did. All car services are getting more expensive but at least at Burie

I had to have a timing chain replaced last week. Tanner had estimated the work wouldn’t be done for about five days (a weekend intervened) but when he heard that I would have to rent a car for several appointments he called the next day and told me my car was done! They had somehow figured out a way to get my work done even though their schedule is packed. Their prices were more than fair and my car is safe now! They are great.
