BV Smog is now @2080 redwood HWY, Greenbrae, CA, 94904

The guys at BV smog were fast and efficient. They figured out and took care pf my problem right away. I am pretty happy that I found them in here. Definetely reccomend this place for everyone!

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. I called and got a same day appointment, got my smog check and he took the coupon they have online. Friendly, polite, quick, and cheap service. A+

Excellent smog service station! They are a star station in case you need to have that extra service performed. It's located right behind the 76 gas station so it's easy to miss while driving by. The pricing is extremely competitive especially if you use the coupon from their website. The service is very friendly and pleasant. There's one chair there to wait. But the Town Center mall is adjacent so it's easy to wait strolling through the mall while your car gets its smog check done.

The BVS website quotes a price of $29 for the smog test. Great! So I booked an appointment online. When I showed up, I was asked to sign a slip agreeing to a $79 charge. I mentioned the online quote but the (unfriendly) service tech said it is only valid if the online coupon is printed. So with my phone i showed the coupon on their website, which explicitly says ‘print or present coupon on phone’. Seems like that should have settled the matter, but the tech said “I only work here” and refused to budge. I wasted a good 45 minutes driving out of my way, waiting my turn, then haggling about the coupon. Obviously, this business hopes you’ll just give in and pay the higher price. Bait and switch, anyone? I’ll never go back.

In a pinch, BV Smog told me they were open & I didn’t need an appointment. It took them just under 20 minutes, and thankfully, my vehicle passed. Grateful for their speed, efficiency, and last minute availability.
