Cris, who owns C & E, may be the best auto mechanic in the world. He is certainly the nicest and most generous. Here’s how I know. On Friday of Labor Day Weekend, I was traveling the Garden State Parkway, on a longer trip between Washington, DC and Plymouth, Massachusetts, when my brakes suddenly failed. I knew enough to recognize that I was fast losing brake fluid. I was near the Bloomfield, NJ exit when this happened, and was able to make my way off the exit to a nearby Dunkin Donuts parking lot. A very nice woman, seeing my plight, told me about Cris, her mechanic, whose garage was only a few blocks away. Long story short, Cris and I connected on the phone and I got a tow to his garage. I have bmw 528i Chris fixed my engine, first he calm that he rebuilt my engine charge me $4500 A month later the whole car stopped working completely. I bought the car back to him. He called me back and told me that I need a whole new engine. He replaced my engine and charge me 7500 after he rebuilt the first one. Now my car is down again. It’s at the BMW dealer. Warning Dont do business with Cris. I was referred to Cris by a friend. Cris looked at my car with his eyes said he smelled oil burning, as if my nose doesn't work. The reason for the visit was the axle. He charged me $2000 said it would be replaced , said it would take the weekend - but it took much longer I would call him for updates Cris wouldn't answer or return my calls back in a timely manner, took weeks to get my car back. It worked for 2 days then it started leaking antifreeze. I called Cris immediately, he said I told you your car was leaking oil, its because your head gasket is blown. It's going to cost you $2600. to fix, when I said I don't have that kind of money , Cris said don't worry, your friend who recommended you has alot of money, get the money from your friend!! Cri

Excellent service, Professional, Quality, Hospitable We are so lucky to have found this place. My husband and I were traveling out of state and had to get off the highway quick because our tire pressure was low. We went here and Chris and his staff were so nice and quick to take care of plugging our tire. Very reasonable priced. Chris is super friendly and genuine! I would absolutely recommend C&E Mechanics to anyone needing auto services.
