Calabash Car Wash - No Appt. Necessary

So I set my expectations low so I wouldn’t be disappointed, but honestly I should have set them higher. I have a car that it is recommended to not go through drive through’s, so I decided to give Calabash Carwash a try and I’m glad I did. They did as good as or maybe a little better than I would or have time or be willing to do and I’m happy about that. All of the staff is nice, and accommodating. I will be going back frequently! Also I got the deluxe wash and it was excellent.

If you have kids on the autism spectrum but want to take them to the car was, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Shaq was so polite when I explained how our daughter gets overwhelmed by noises, especially the vacuum. He did an outstanding job and our daughter was so happy to high five him at the end. Terrific local business. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This place was very transparent with their prices. I did the biggest package with ceramic wax and extra interior cleaning. Crew did a very good job. This was the cleanest my truck has been in a long time.

Typically I would give them a five-star rating. However, today I had my SUV washed and vacuumed.. The works! We had been to the beach recently and there was sand all in my trunk. They did not even vacuum it out. I paid extra for the SUV and they did not vacuum it out. Did not notice it until I got home. So I therefore vacuumed it myself and did not return and hence, leaving this review. Typically they always vacuum it out and wash the rubber floor protector. Not this time and I'm very disappointed. Also left them a decent tip as well.

Fair warning, do not use this car wash. Owner charged me ten dollars extra to vacuum my mini Volkswagen Taos because he said it was an oversized vehicle and they did not even vacuum out the rear cargo area. So, for $35 dollars plus a five dollar tip I left the outside crew that was supposed to vacuum I had to go home and do it myself anyway. A complete waste of money.
