Calderon Tires and Service

Called to get a quote for 4 tires. I was quoted $1075( also stated on work order) arrived and owner stated that was the wrong price. Stated someone(employee) quoted wrong price and he will get to the bottom of it. It was actually the person at the desk helping me… I recognized his phone. Quoted price $1075. He wanted to charge me $1475. That’s a big difference. He saw a BWM and a young lady $$$$$! We went back and forth about the price. He could’ve called and told me the mistake and I would’ve just stayed in town(AG) and got it done at Figueroa. I believe they purposely took their time putting 4 tires on. 230-530 pm!!! Unprofessional work ethics!!! Right before leaving, I told the guy at the desk that I know it was him that quoted the price and he stayed quiet 🤫 They don’t deserve

Went to Calderon Tires and got 4 new tires for my BMW and honestly couldn’t beat the price anywhere else. I shopped around first and these guys had the best deal by far. Service was quick, straight to the point, no upselling or pressure. In and out and the car rides smooth. Definitely coming back and recommending them if you need tires without getting ripped off.

Atrocious and grotesquely unprofessional. I got there at 9:30am, (as calderons told me to do, since they don't do appointments). They didn't start work on my car until 3:00pm. I needed axles and rack and pinion. The mechanic working on my car tire the pinion boots and did not place axle seals in properly, as he was McDonalding the whole install and carelessly rushing the whole job. I now have a leaky passenger side axle and torn rack and pinion boots. Please avoid this place as it is the lowest form of mechanical service you can receive. I wouldn't even trust them to put air in my tires. Awful experience, please spend more money and go somewhere where they will do a proper and professional job.

Me: there's a nail in my tire. Can you fix it? Calderon's: ok 15 minutes later... Calderon's: all done. That'll be just 20 dollars. No paperwork, no looking up details, signatures. Just good, friendly service!

I have been going here for about 5ish years now, i have never had a problem. I am not much of a chatter so i appreciate the forward talks about what my vehicle needs at that time and what it will need in the future/next visit. waiting room does need some work but thats minor i usually go home while they work on my vehicle (Scion XB, 2010)
