Camping World - Jacksonville

I recently decided to look at Toy Hauler RV's and went to two dealers to see what was available. I settled on looking seriously at units at Camping World in north Jacksonville, Florida. There I looked at several units and was advised on the attributes of each by one of the best salespersons I ever had, Cole Steedley. I am 76 years old and Cole took his time with me, answered every question and was a real pleasure to work with. We talked to the Sales Manager, Parts Manager and Service Manager when we needed to and I settled on a really nice trailer. It took four visits to the store and numerous phone calls and texts to get the job done. We bought our camper from Camping World, hoping that if we had an issue, we would be able to reach out and get help. We had our camper for 2 weeks and started having an issue with our slide. We were very concerned we had made a mistake. Hunter's attention and focus reassured us. After speaking with John we could see the good store has good leadership. Hunter communicated with us and did everything he said he would do. We have our camper back in a timely manner.And we couldn't be happier. Be careful bringing your RV to Camping World in Jacksonville, Florida. I brought my RV in on Feb 6th for a water heater issue. The service tech, Aaron, told me the entire water heater had to be replaced and it was the only option. He even said they were doing the repair “in favor of me.” I was charged over $1,500. After the repair, I received the Lippert warranty report on March 6th, which shows the issue only required two specific parts — FLOW SENSOR 2GWH-24 (#2022107584) and WATER PIPE ASSEMBLY NEW STYLE 2GWH-19A (#2022107579) — not a full replacement. I spoke with Operations Manager Hunter, who gathered information from me and from Rose at Gulf Stream Coach warranty, but since then all calls go to voicemail and there has been no attempt to resolve the issue. I'm going to be honest here, it's been a rough road. I bought a used 2021 River Forest camper from the Jacksonville office, transported from Claremont, Florida post-divorce. The dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave all needed replaced on closer inspection. So happy I bought the warranty. We were going along swimmingly, adding water to the fresh water tank for the first time, and it fell off into the ground. Can you imagine how upset we were? They came out to our property the next day and fixing it. No problem. I'm going to say that good customer service saved us here. If Mike hadn't been so responsive, we'd be in small claims court. So happy for the staff at Camping World Jacksonville and Mike on the sales team. I'll roast a marshmallow for you! 🔥
