Camping World - Sherman

I recently purchased a trailer from this place. It was filthy when I bought it They didn't clean it at any point in time they left stuff all over the place less stuff in the awning arms. And then they have a mound in there for 50-in TV but they don't tell you you have to buy special adapters to make it fit any type of TV. I would never buy or go to a camping world in Sherman ever. Customer service isn't there sales people suck They don't communicate it's like it's a kid with no plans for a future. They don't tell you the stuff you need the stuff you should get to make your trailer work right. The only good thing about that place was that they stayed until 7:00 to help me get my trailer. We needed propane and a handle for our door. Erin in the service department was knowledgeable, exuberant, and friendly. It was a pleasure having her assist us. Good quantity of RV items available. We thought we would look at the new fifth wheels while we were there and were directed to the front of the store. All I will say is that it would have been nice if the reception staff had half the amount of energy & personality that Erin had back in service.

We purchased a part from them during a recent snow/sleet/ice storm here in the Dallas area. Husband called to see if they had part in stock...employee said computer showed 1 in stock and proceeded to go place eyes on the part to confirm that the part was in stock...we really appreciated him going above the norm, especially since we had to travel 1.5hrs 1 way!!! When we arrived the part was waiting for us at the front desk!!! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!

I am a cash buyer trying to by a class C motorhome from this dealer. They want $2145 to install a $245 solar panel kit. To replace the Coach batteries they want $489 for labor. The unit was 56k and they ran the price up to 77k. Even if it was possible to by a unit from them don't put yourself through dealing with them. Buy from a private party it is much easier.

Be careful taking your camper in to get repaired. Took mine in to have the roof resealed and ended up getting damaged while being brought out of the bay after the roof was fixed. When I went down to inspect the damages after being told about this, they said they already filed a claim with their insurance and was ordering the parts to repair it but after the total cost, it looks like it should have been totaled. Now, the camper is fixed but I asked to have the frame inspected and was told they did inspect it and trust their mechanics but the bunk part on the driver side looks like it is arched still and they told me there was no structural damage done to the camper, but they also had to replace the support braces under the tongue.
