I was running errands in Knoxville with my 2 year old son in Knoxville when our 2010 Ford Edge started showing all the bells and whistles of having a problem. I was in the “chicken lane” on a VERY BUSY traffic riddled highway waiting to TRY to turn left when it completely died on me. I was extremely fortunate to have CarFix within walking distance to us at that time. All it took was a quick google search for a tow truck and a call and they had someone there with a truck to pick my son and I up and bring us to their shop. We were given a loaner vehicle to drive while they assessed what exactly was going on with it. Everything moved quick. The price was right. Came in for a squeaky noise in my car within 5 minutes one of the guys hopped in my car to go for a drive with me to hear it. There was an issue with the break pad, for less than $100 they fixed it. The diagnosis drive, the fix, and the checkout took under 2 hours. They also had a separate waiting room with snacks and coffee, so I had some privacy while waiting and watching “modern marvels”. It would have been a little small if another customer was in there with me, but fortunately I was the only one.

They always provide a Detailed report for oil change and tire rotation with evaluation of tread. They communicate very well with email and photos of any problems spots on your vehicle and they call or text when done. I am a return customer due to their efficiency and attention to detail without pressure sales. Excellent team!

My wife had a flat tire on her way to work, and Brian at Car Fix Solway stepped in immediately to help. He changed out the defective tire for the spare on the spot, and the service couldn’t have been quicker or more accommodating. I stopped by Car Fix for a free vehicle check and had a really positive experience. Brian and the mechanic took the time to thoroughly inspect my car and walk me through what they found, showing and explaining everything clearly. They were professional and patient, and I truly appreciated the time they spent helping me understand what was going on. p.s. They have a nice waiting room with tv & refreshments as well as loner vehicles if needed. Great place for repairs and great customer service overall.
