Cardinal Car Wash

Staying at the Fairfield and needed a quick rinse. Do NOT go here. Two of the bays did not work. The vacuum did though. We did get our money back by putting the address in the mailbox so that was nice.

I had used this car wash for years and loved it. Today, June 10, 2025, is the last time I'll go there. Do not use bay 1. Just water no pre wash, no soap, just water. Bird crap all over and someone is feeding them field corn. Oh and at the end I had a drenching flood of water flowing from the ceiling for about 2 minutes that left crusty water marks all over my car. This place is for sale and they should just close the doors until some unknowing person buys it.

This place has been here for years and it never disappoints. This is a great do it yourself car wash. Currently, I think it costs $2.50 to get the timer started, and as your time reaches 1 minute, then the time will alert you to let u know that your time is running out. To add more time, you simply add more quarters. When the timer reaches 1 minute, I think another 4 quarters buys u another 2 minutes of time. This car wash has scrub brushes that actually work. Their towel machines were stocked. The one towel machine was empty, but gave us our money back. If I remember right, I think it costs $.75 for one of their disposable drying towels. Hope this helps.

I’ve lost money at this place twice over $20. I filled out the complaint form and put it in their “box” and no one ever called me back. Don’t use this car wash you will waste your money and never get it back.

I attempted to clean my vehicle out there not only is the property dilapidated but the change machine likes to eat your money without a service light on. It just ate one of my $20 bills. There isn't a single self-serve car wash worth going to in Muncie.
