First off I’d like to thank the sales department for making this a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The car (2025 Honda Civic Type R) is absolutely amazing and looks fantastic. I highly recommend carmax of Athens. Also I noticed one tire has damage to the side wall. Call the store and without hesitation they got me in looked at it and got a new tire coming. Once again amazing customer service all the way around. I’ll definitely be returning in the future to pick up my wife’s dream ride!
Selling my GMC Terrain at Carmax was absolutely great. We got a quote online, and from the time we walked in the door to the time we left, only an hour had passed! Nichole was the lady helping us. Thanks to Nick and Brie as well. She was communicative and well informed, talking us through each step of the process and helping us understand what was affecting the price, etc. The people there will talk to you person to person, and I just really enjoyed my time there.
All I can say is Car Max was great at working with me to get the exact car that I wanted.They gave me an exceptional trade in value for my car. I am just well pleased with everything. To top it all off I love my Honda Accord Sport.
I was 100% completely satisfied with every aspect of my experience. Everybody was helpful and friendly. All of my questions and concerns were answered promptly. Definitely my go to for any other vehicle I ever buy!
My daughter purchased a 2019 Toyota Corolla Sept. 2025. Three weeks later the check engine light comes on. She tries to get an service appointment at the Athens location but they didn't have any openings so she made an appointment at the Gainesville location. They look at the vehicle, tell her there is nothing wrong and says it's just the gas cap. Within a week the check engine light comes on again. My husband goes to the dealership in Athens and ask to the head mechanic, R.L. The scheduled service on Thursday and promised it would be ready that day. He called asked what the status is and R.L. tells him that the gas cap was replaced but it wasn't the issue. He suspects there is a leak in the detection pump. R.L. was sending the vehicle to be smoke tested and the car would repaired the foll
