Yesterday I sold my 2015 Mercedes C300 4matic to Car Max. It was extremely easy. I started an online appraisal filled out some information about my car etc. Very quickly they gave me an offer for my car. A tow truck driver was dispatched to my house the next day. The driver didn’t try to lower my offer in any way. He already had my check upon arrival. I signed a few papers and gave him the key. He loaded my car up on his truck and it was a done deal. Very impressed by Car Max from start to finish. Five stars for all employees I came in contact with. I tried two other companies that buys cars and both tried to give me substantially lower than the original offer upon coming to see my car. Not Car Max. They actually gave me the offer they quoted me for my car. That’s how you do business. Upfr

10 stars across the board! Chris, Tiffany, and Divine were all so great to work with. They were extremely helpful, communicative, and kind. Everyone had a smile on their face and made both me and my mom feel comfortable. There was a lot of paperwork involved in selling the car and they were very clear and accurate about what we needed in order to walk away with a check! I greatly appreciated their service and will 100% recommend this service to anyone looking to buy or sell their car.

Yesterday I went to Carmax in Buford GA & had a great experience. I originally was waiting for a car I reserved to be transferred from this location but since I was in the area I thought I’d just go check it out. They were so accommodating. They help me return my rental, picked me up, and made the purchase very easy. Jake E was awesome. He was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. 10 out of 10 I recommend.

Update 2/26/26: all three CarMax locations failed me. I feel like no one cares about my safety, time, & money spent here. I’m highly disappointed and this is the worst car buying experience I ever had. I really love my vehicle but I have no trust in this company. Especially with the car problems I been facing especially spending so much extra with max care. Still have low quality results. I got lied to a lot during this experience Nov 2025- until now (bough the car Oct 27 25) and if I wasn’t on top with everything I wouldn’t even get follow ups back. They thought they could tell me anything and I would just went away. You got the wrong one. I would never shop with them NEVER again !!!!!

The.business center staff was very polite and respectful of my time. They handled all the paperwork and explained what the process was to sell my car to CarMax. They had me in and out within 30 minutes. Check in hand. Thank you for a great experience
