My experience at carmax was painfree and Maria was great to work with! We looked at 3 different cars and had to stay past closing time to get finished with the paperwork. There was an issue with my car but they had it fixed first thing the next day. I'm so happy with my purchase ☺️

Had an appointment for my car to be picked up from home and received an email 15 minutes before that it had been canceled. I scheduled an in-store appointment immediately and drove to the location. Front of store, service/inspection, and sales/business staff have little cross-communication so they don’t know where you or your vehicle are. That being said, my online quote was honored as I came within the 7-day term and the transaction was fairly quick despite the obvious communication gaps. Christian (Chris) who finalized my sale was efficient and explained everything well to me. CarMax has a policy for a free Lyft ride home within a 60 mile radius of the store, which was booked for me while we were signing the documents.

My First Time Buying a Car at CarMax This was my very first time buying a car, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with the entire process. There was no sales pitch and no pressure at all. The staff were professional, well-trained, and very helpful. They took the time to explain not only the inventory but also CarMax’s 10-day return policy, the warranty, and all the benefits included. Even their financing department was able to offer me a better APR than I expected. I want to give special thanks to Joshua, Yivanni, and Angel — they all went above and beyond to help me from start to finish. CarMax truly made buying a car stress-free. It’s a reputable company that provides peace of mind, and in my 30 years of buying cars, this has been the best dealership experience I’ve had.

We had a very frustrating experience at the CarMax Miami Lakes location that was completely inconsistent with another CarMax dealership. We brought my 70-year-old father’s car to Miami Lakes after receiving a quote at another CarMax location. The clerk questioned why the title showed ownership for less than 30 days. We explained the vehicle was a gift from my uncle to my father on 12/26. Although we had the Florida title and registration, we were told the clerk needed to “ask his manager.” We were then informed that CarMax does not purchase vehicles owned for less than 30 days. This was surprising, as we were within the 7-day offer window and this requirement was never disclosed when the quote was issued.
