10 stars if I could. We bought a 21’ GMC Yukon ant CarMax, St. Peter’s location and 5 months later on our way home from Christmas vacation our transmission went out in TX. We were 800 miles from home. We ended up getting a rental car so we could at least get home. We did buy the Maxcare warranty when we bought the Yukon & it paid the entire claim of $7175 and rental reimbursement. I called CarMax & spoke w/ the manager Ryan at the St Peters, MO location. He was absolutely amazing. He worked with us diligently to figure out how we would get our Yukon home once fixed. He worked with his logistics team and was able to get it transported back to us at no cost. Now that’s going above and beyond. He turned an extremely stressful situation into a blessing. I didn't personally purchase a vehicle here but my sister did. The process seemed to be pretty smooth. She was in and out, it took about an hour and everything was done. Her car was very nice! The team came out and showed her how to work some features she was having trouble with before she left. Everyone was nice, the building is beautiful and she's happy with the deal she got.

CarMax and I got off to a rocky start: I showed up for my set appointment only to find the store closed 5 hours earlier due to snow...no call or notice to me. However, at my second trip to the CarMax lot, everyone at the store was extremely polite and professional. Megan, in particular, walked me through all the steps efficiently and made me feel truly appreciated. This was such a wonderful option to me in selling my car.

I got a quote online and tried to upload documents online for the express option. Since I didn't have a valid registration I had to go in and everyone I spoke with was extremely helpful and very nice. They made the process a breeze and I got exactly what I was quoted online. Will definitely come back.

Sorry for the length of this review first off. I purchased a Subaru from the dealership about two years ago and had some concerns of damage on the passenger side front door that I did not see when I bought the vehicle. So I called the dealership about 60–70 Ish days after the grace period and unfortunately they told me they have no record of any accidents or damage and couldn't do anything about it. So I took that as a no and left it alone. -TWO YEARS LATER- I called back because the paint started cracking and peeling more and I was concerned what I was going to find underneath.
