I have been coming to Carms since the day he opened his shop. Jim and Jamie are the best. Honest, caring and James is a great mechanic! I moved away recently but I still try to schedule my car maintenance with James when I come to LI for family. Would hate to lose them as a mechanic. THE BEST!

The best car service shop in my area. Jim is amazing and really speeds up the process. He helps his clients and goes the extra mile. Jaimie is a delight to work with in the front office. Highly recommend this auto repair shop.

Had AAA tow my vehicle there one night. The next day he waited all day to look at my car. He called and didn’t know what was wrong with it. He told me to pick it up. He said he drove it around the block(which couldn’t have been true). I go to pick it up that night. The car was undrivable and in a heavy limp mode with a sensor issue. I had to tow it to another Shop. Another day and money wasted.

The owner(Jim) is very knowledgeable and will take the time to walk you through the things he feels are worth addressing. Jim is an honest man and will treat you fairly, and if no work is needed, he will let you know and not try to take advantage. I will return again if and when my car needs service.

I went here for the first time, being new to the area it’s hard to know who to trust with your car, I went based off of past reviews from other people. So glad I did! Awesome husband and wife team who you can tell care about their customers! Definitely will be bringing both of my cars here from now on.
