Overall not impressed with this body shop. Communication with the team there was frequently ignored and not followed up on. For example, I asked them a couple times to check a spot on the hood and to see if they could remove it. Spots still there and no attempt was made to clean it. Side mirror was replaced but not completely put back together, and the old cover was left on the back seat of my car. Thirdly, the front front quarter of the car which was replaced and painted had wax that was not wiped off. Finally, the car was not ready for pickup on the day promised although I had asked no less than 2 times when it would be ready. Chantilly auto body is USAA approved and I’d back that! Had to take my truck to them for repairs after my truck was clipped in a parking lot by a semi trailer messed up the bumper and the tailgate. They kept me informed all through the process, even with a call once a day to let me know where the truck stood during the repair process. They are quick no issues and my truck came out looking great thanks again Chantilly autobody you guys did a phenomenal job.

Went to CARSTAR to fix my Tesla after a fender bender. After their work, I honestly can’t tell it was ever damaged. They kept me informed every step of the process and worked with my insurance company. Had about a 3 week turnaround which is about what they estimated. At pickup, they had even washed the outside and cleaned the interior.

My experience with CARSTAR chantilly auto body shop could not have been better. I worked with Carol and Joe’s team for help with my car repair. Their support and kindness is greatly appreciated. Carol called me every single day with a report and update on my car. Thank you!

The shop is not what it used to be. I had to bring my 2022 XC40 back three times for them to do the repair properly but they never got it. Now I'm stuck with excessive wind noise from misaligned panels. There are at least three missing clips that I can see and the plastic trim pieces under the hood are loose and vibrating. I even took it back to the dealer who provided pictures of the misalignment but it didn't help. Now my options are to live with it or to take it to another shop and pay out of pocket. Chantilly Auto body said there's nothing more they can do. On a positive note, the paintwork looks really good, still, I'm extremely disappointed.
