I've gone here since I've moved here in 2023 from the East Coast.. I take my car and my mother's cars here to always get worked on if needed to. They are very honest and trustworthy mechanic shop which is hard to come by. They have always gone above and beyond to help us get things figured out and fixed. They have always let me know what is going on and Never will they do work you don't approve of. They try their best to get work done asap. Always been told bring it in and they will look at the vehicles within 24 hours of contact . THAT IS AMAZING SERVICE !!! They always try to find the most affordable solution to my mother or my car problems. Im having an engine replaced by them right now and they have been amazing through this very stressful times. BEWARE - SHADY TACTICS!! Absolutely unacceptable experience. My son was stranded out of town and brought his car to this shop. Without providing a quote, asking for approval, or even checking if we could afford it, they went ahead and replaced the alternator—then handed us a $1,070 bill. No options, no heads-up. Just a financial slap in the face. Worse, my son explicitly told the tow truck driver/mechanic not to press the A/C button because it would kill the engine due to a known compressor issue we couldn’t afford to fix yet. We’ve been careful to avoid further damage by not using it. Despite this warning, the driver test-drove the car, left it running, and—sure enough—turned on the A/C in 50°F weather. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a baby kitten stuck inside the wheel well/engine compartment of my Toyota RAV4 today. At first, I couldn’t find it and honestly started hoping it was just my daughter’s FurReal toy meowing. I turned the toy off, but my heart sank when I realized the meowing was real. With no choice but to drive to pick up my kids, I stopped at Casey’s Automotive after spotting an open bay and a few guys working there. I explained what was happening, and the three gentlemen immediately jumped in to help. They put in a great deal of effort and managed to safely retrieve the kitten completely unharmed from where it had gotten wedged inside. Thankfully, it had stayed clear of any moving parts. We were driving through Indenpendence late Saturday afternoon and the clutch pedal on our truck broke, not knowing where to go or who to call a nice man helped us push our truck out of the road and suggested we call Quality Tow. They were there in 10 minutes. We were going to tow it to a dealer there in town. The tow truck driver suggested we take it to Casey's Automotive. The owner met us there and said he could fix it and have us on our way. The only problem was after calling several places he couldn't find the part for our 24 year old truck. He offered to fix it with a part he would take off a salvage truck he had. It would take him a couple of hours and it was already 5:00. We talked to him and decided to leave the truck. I highly recommend Casey's auto. He helped me find a oil leak that gave me so much trouble. They were very helpful respectful and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work guys!
