9/2025. $6000 engine overhaul which took them 6 months went horribly bad before reaching 5000 miles. But this isnt the reason I'll never go back. The big problem is that when I went back to get their opinion as to what the problem might be they wouldn't talk to me. Oh yes, it also cost me an additional $400 with a different mechanic to get the emission control vacuum lines connected correctly so the check engine light would go out.

First auto mechanic to successfully diagnose and fix a check engine light which had been stubbornly on for over a year. I had brought my Subaru in to several mechanics, none of whom could figure out the root cause of the issue. It turned out that a poorly connected battery cable was creating various issues throughout the engine, all of which were resolved once the battery and cable were replaced. Once that was fixed, the check engine light disappeared, and it still remains off. I came to Farmington from out of town, and CATS fit me right into their schedule, even working after hours. They are a family owned business. Throughout the stressful process, they went above and beyond, updating me and even driving me around when I was without a car. I cannot recommend them strongly enough!
