Cedarhurst Senior Living of Dyer

We recently moved my Mom into a beautiful 1-bedroom apartment with a balcony at Cedarhurst of Dyer. My Mom has been there for 3 weeks and she loves it! The staff is so friendly and helpful. There are so many wonderful daily activities in which my Mom can participate.There are many amenities that are available to make my Mom’s life easier, which is what she now deserves after the recent passing of my Father. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Cedarhurst of Dyer. I sleep well at night knowing that my Mom is happy and is well taken care of at Cedarhurst. And she was able to bring her cat along! I highly recommend that you talk to Natalie Raffin at Cedarhurst to see if assisted living might be right for your loved one.

Never in a Million Years would I ever Place another Family Member, Friend or recommend a Stranger to this facility. My Mom in My opinion went down hill from the moment she stepped in this facility. In all the many years that I was as close to my mom, I never saw her as depressed as she was when she was in there. I was never so disgusted with the behavior of staff that I was with my mom being there. The CNA’s Would tell me one thing and my children one thing on the care of my mom because they didn’t agree with what was going on And then tell us that it was protocol that was signed off on and they had no choice. The director was absolutely unprofessional in my opinion, and the way that they treated my children, the people that were closest to my mom and I Was utterly disgusting. My mom went

I I went to Cedarhurst of dyer with my mom. My dad passed away a few years ago and I thought it was time to start looking at options for my mom, since her health has started to decline a little. My mom was hesitant to go to Cedarhurst. When we arrived Tiffany greeted us and showed us around. She was very friendly and after a few moments she made us feel like family. Cedarhurst is clean and the staff is very friendly. They have accommodations to fit most budgets.My mom was very impressed with the facility and all the amenities. She is now considering the transition to assisted living. I want to thank the staff and especially Tiffany for making the next phase of my mom's life much easier.

My relatives have been in both Memory Care and Assisted Living at Cedarhurst in Dyer. I am regularly there 4 or 5 days per week at random times. The entire staff is incredible! My uncle recently passed and April (nurse) was there to help us through the transition. She was compassionate and informative. The facility is beautiful and there is always something exciting going on for those who choose to participate. Even Memory Care has daily activities. People aren’t placed in front of a TV all day like they do at other facilities. If I am fortunate enough to live in a community for the elderly…I would love for it to be Cedarhurst in Dyer.

Rae, the case manager is absolutely wonderful, efficient, very kind in her words and her actions. She has been so good with our situation just such a bright and a delight person. Thank you from a church Family of a patient.
