Service writer was on the ball, took down correct info, up dated us as he knew. Took care of the warranty work. If it weren't for waiting on parts it would have been a quick process. We had to wait a few days on parts. No worries if this is you. There is a Hertz Car Rental connected, super convenient! Great community, if you can choose where to have your truck worked on, go here. We had a coolant leak, bunk ac/ heater issue, and pm svc, so we weren't broke down. We were in Oakland and decided to go to a smaller community to have the work done. Glad we choose this place. The area is expensive; but it's a coastal area and it is Cali. Great bunch of guys who did an excellent job!

Medium and heavy duty truck service center, by the airport in San Luis Obispo. Great customer service team, great technicians, what else do you want. These guys have the technical expertise to fix all those complicated electrical problems and emissions issues on modern diesel engines, plus they can fix your airbrakes and everything else. Not cheap, but nothing good is. Highly recommend!

Edit: I am changing my stars from 1 to 3. They made mistakes, contacted me and took full responsibility and made things right. They made some changes in their shop and assured me mistakes like this won’t happen again. They didn’t ask me to change my review which I respect. Here was my prior review: Overall their diagnostic abilities were poor, slow, poor communication and their prices are high. They missed a cracked EGR cooler, warped head, broken camshaft and leaking clutch fan and BROKE an oil component that caused me to leak oil everywhere. They didn’t get over half of the work/prices approved by me. The manager was absent, the only helpful person is Frankie. Here is my story below. I had to get my diesel pusher motorhome towed in due to blowing white smoke and low coolant alarms.

Brought it in for one issue that was fixed same day from what I understand. Then They claimed they found codes for a nonessential system and started screwing with that. Called for an update and the service guy told me I needed a new crank assembly, turns out he was reading the wrong truck. Never will I ever bring my truck here again.

I’m new to the Freightliner family, our 2021 had a fault for the after treatment system that’s so typical with the “modern” Diesel engine. The guys stayed late on a Friday night to try to keep our truck on the road. I’m beyond grateful for the service department going above and beyond for us. Thank you.
