Sharing because no one deserves this. Do not accept checks from this company. I recommend not even doing business. I have tired reaching out multiple times only to be told the man of the shop is either sick or never there and there is no ways to reach him. At one point he called and said he was on the way to a doctors appointment and would contact us to pay the fees and have yet to hear anything. I just want people to be aware of this business and what they are doing.

My vehicle engine blew up. Place I bought reached out to these guys since used them. Was given a better deal on $ but ends up looking like way more hours than any one else would have done so they got their extra money. Since getting it back have found many issues. Dented hood not there before, washer house wrapped around wiper blade arm and broke it. Now discovered for sure oil had been leaking from around the “ new” turbo I was told was put in. Never got receipt for the cash part of payment either plus took forever to fix it then had to have them come get again for more repairs. Beginning to think that was their screw up that ended up paying for This place is slow and a rip off. Do not use

My Mazda 3 broke down outside State College. Was needing a second opinion on the Transmission problem. Was referred to Bob at Certified Auto by a local. She was spot on - He was honest -helped direct me to a good Tow guy. He was thorough in his diagnostics and helped me understand what happened to the transmission. Then, he didn't even charge me to look at it! (Knowing I had 174. 00 charge already from the Mazda dealer.) Thank you, Bob for helping me through some tough decisions ... If I ever hear anyone needing a mechanic in State College, I know where to send them! Christine

The team (yes, team) arrived at my place in about an hour after I called them on a Thursday evening. They diagnosed the starter needed replacement. Said they could do it Tuesday evening. Then, they did it, as agreed. Starts right up now. Excellent! I'll definitely be calling them next time.

Certified Auto may be the closest auto repair shop to where I live, and may be the most convenient, location-wise, however I refuse to take my vehicles there. Since it was my first time there, I imagine they thought they could nickel and dime me and my decade-old car. Unprofessional greeting with no office visible. Maybe I wouldn't have had to stand outside for 20 minutes trying to get in contact with someone if you had signs telling anyone where to go.
