Certified Auto Repair recently performed some critical maintenance on my vehicle, including replacing the timing belt, water pump, and spark plugs. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The team was professional, transparent about the work needed, and provided a very fair estimate. They explained the importance of each service without any pressure. Be very careful with the diagnostic pricing here. I was quoted over $540 just to diagnose a check engine light and a suspension noise far above what most reputable shops charge. When I declined, they instantly dropped the price to $200, which is a big red flag. If the real price is $200, it shouldn’t start at $540. I left without service. I look young for my age (23) and I assume they thought they could take advantage of a younger person who doesn’t know much about mechanics and pricing. Unfortunately I’m a graduate student in mechanical engineering and have been taking care of my car for 7 years now and know bs when I see it.

Great communication, they do fast but reassuringly thorough work, and are super honest. Would highly recommend this shop to women looking for a trustworthy shop - they explain everything well, keep accessible records of the tests they run/what they find, and just in general have been so reliable. They did one huge fix on my car this year and recently a smaller one, both times they were really on top of it. Really grateful for these guys.
