Certified Transmission

Certified Transmission in Gladstone MO is a shop we know we can trust. We are repeat customers with multiple vehicles after they provided a complete transmission replacement so years back (2015 Suburban) we have found their pricing is reasonable while providing superior parts / fluids. We are using Certified as our go to shop for transmission maintenance (fluid/ filter replacements) and differential maintenance (gear oil changes). They tell you what they find and are honest without any upselling or pressure. The shop is honest with Mike providing great advice and counsel. A highly recommended and honest shop.

Mike was super thorough with the process and there every step of the way with updates and letting us know how stuff would go. The finished the job early for a little less money than we initially thought. Will be coming back for routine maintenance on other vehicles.

I have been meaning to write a review, and I am just now getting around to it! This place is amazing. I took my car here in November (maybe) of 2025. I only talked with the Manager, Mike Prendergast, and he was amazing. He is such a kind man, and he didn't once make me feel stupid for not understanding anything about cars. He was such a delight. They told me it would take me two weeks to do my car, and they got it done in one week! Was such a wonderful experience for a really unfortunate car situation. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Mike and the team were fantastic to work with. They made sure our car was not only repaired as needed but also that it met all of the quality and safety standards before completing the work. Thank you very much.

Upon intake they did not realize that they couldn't actually service our vehicle. They had our vehicle for an entire day and then called to notify us at 4:30p that they didn't have the proper supplies to do what we took it in for. Then they charged us $100 for doing nothing! Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of our time. They said they charged us for running the computer program and for tech time. We took it in for a transmission flush, that they weren't able to do.
