Champion Auto Repair

I am writing this review in hopes that no one else falls victim to the same experience I had today. My experience was deeply concerning due to what appeared to be predatory pricing and a total lack of transparency. ​Transparency and trust are essential in auto repair, and unfortunately, those were missing during my visit. The mechanic even refused my reasonable request for a partial repair, pushing only for the most expensive option. On the inspection details, about my front pads being 95% worn when they actually have 5mm left. (50 % worn). I feel very deceived. Don't go there. Save your money and save your sanity.

Took my daughter’s 2007 Scion TC in for a full diagnostic after years of frustration. Another repair shop had told us the car would always have an oil leak and that she would need to add oil every time she gassed up—which she had been doing for over 4 years. Champion Auto Repair found the actual source of the leak and fixed it! They also replaced three worn engine mounts and the front brake pads. The difference is night and day—the car now runs like new and has its zip and pep back. The cost was very affordable, and what really stood out was their honesty and professionalism. My daughters car fully dropped its exhaust as she was driving to work. By the time she made it to her work, the exhaust attached by a hope and a prayer and the coolant was gushing all over the parking lot due to a huge hole in a hose. After calling for a tow and checking for local shops with good reviews this is where my daughter and son in law decided to try. Not only did the shop contact then first thing the next business day but they were VERY up front and honest about the cost and time to fix the car vs. It's actual value. He then let her know that there was a shop that did muffler systems at an affordable rate as well as fixed/rigged the muffler well enough to get to that shop so she did not need to call for another tow. ( his fix/rigged job held so well it got her through to Tuesday

Edit: Once again the duo fit me in almost immediately on a day that worked for me. They had my car in and out for some brake work. It's worth mentioning they charged me well under what the dealership estimated $$$$ It's a whose, whose in the pic! Dennis and Randy are top-notch. They also get your car back to you on the same day as well.

Dennis helped us out over the weekend when my car’s transmission was behaving oddly on I-5 while driving through Olympia. Not having any tips on where to go for a mechanic in the area, we found Champion nearby. Dennis squeezed us in and took a close look, ran some diagnostics, and drove the car; he very thoughtfully suggested that the range of options for repair (and even more rigorous diagnostics) were not necessarily the best course of action given the vehicle’s mileage. He could’ve easily done a deeper dive without inquiring with us first, and could’ve charged us a decent amount for a lost cause.
