Chandler Place Independent Living

My mother moved in a few months ago to be closer to us. She's 5 minutes away now instead of 2.5 hours. She loves the facility, not having to cook for herself, the so friendly staff (they all knew her by name in a couple of days), planned activities, and has made lots of new friends. I highly recommend setting up a tour with Dakota if you have someone needing an independant living facility.

We had a wonderful time at Chandler place today. My husband, pastor Jason Anderson of Hopewell PCA here in Rock Hill preaches there once a month. We just love the residents and love being part of their lives. I'm attaching a photo back from December when my daughter was home from college. She got to play a special song for them at Christmas time.

My brother and I brought my dad to Rock Hill a little over a week ago for rehab. In that week, we had to find a place for him to live after rehab. After searching and speaking with reps in this area, we visited Chandler Place and met with Kim. She is a lovely person and had all the information we needed. I loved the fact that she is down to earth. She gave us the hometown feelings we were looking for. It was because of her that we decided on Chandler Place for my dad. She is a true gem and we don't know what we would have done without her. Kim gave us a tour and was SO nice. She answered all of our questions with patience and kindness. The residents and other staff we encountered were equally kind, and friendly. The facility was clean and had lots of activities and areas for Seniors to enjoy themselves.

Everything was very nice and clean at the facility. The only concern I have is the speed at the elevator. You have a lot of elderly people waiting for the elevator and it seems to be very slow even when there's nobody using it. It would serve better if it was quicker
