Chapel Hill Tire - Carrboro

I had an excellent experience at Chapel Hill Tire - Carrboro. I came in with a flat tire and was accommodated almost immediately, which I truly appreciated. Ruby at the front desk was outstanding, very kind, professional, and efficient. She made the process smooth from start to finish. I spent just a few minutes enjoying coffee in their waiting area before I was informed that my car was already ready. To my surprise, they did not even charge me. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service, professionalism, and customer focus were exceptional. I'll definitely be returning for general maintenance and future needs.

I went in expecting a state inspection and oil change. Unfortunately the mechanics found some safety issues with my tires and CV axle. The front desk employee, Ruby, was awesome and brought me back to see the issues for myself and explain why I needed to have it fixed. She helped me figure out what I could afford and worked with me! Then I was wondering how I was going to get home or if I would be stuck waiting for my car for however long. Well they have just the thing! Mr. Tony is their courtesy shuttle service driver. He was able to take me to my apartment and then came back and picked me up when my car was done. I left my car at probably 10:30am and they were done with it by 4pm. Had an excellent experience from start to finish! Have an old Toyota which was having some trouble. They did a diagnostic and determined that it was just a loose hose. They fixed the problem without charging anything. I will definitely continue to go back and support this business.

Fantastic service! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and the process was done in less than an hour. Chris then asked if he could to show me issues with my car’s rear shocks & struts. He showed me exactly what was wrong and the specific spot of the wear it was putting on my vehicle and was happy to explain when I had some questions, giving me a detailed estimate if I wanted to move forward with the additional repairs. It was really great to see for myself what was wrong with my car and him taking the extra step to get walk me back to the shop and explain it to me. Not to mention, the additional service was done same-day within a few hours. Thank you so much!

I have taken my vehicle here three times now and they are always so polite, kind courteous, and more than fair with pricing. I feel like they genuinely care about the members of their community. I am so grateful to have a trustworthy mechanic in town.
