Been going here for 10 years on and off. Seen management change a few times. These guys in there now are the best ! 100 percent Stand behind there work! Glad to have them close to my work. They stay busy all the time but do you really want the guy who is not Busy? I don't!

Took my wife's car to them a few weeks back because it was running rough, they call me and said it needed 1 coil pack and set of plugs, would be 463.00,. so I said fix it because she needed her car, THEY Charged me 157.99 for 1 coil pack and 115.98 for 4 pkugs plus labor had the same problem yesterday and took it close to where it was acting up...They diagnosed the car and said it needed a coil pack, so I went and bought 4 coil packs for 231.00 and 4 plugs for 56 dollars, so YES they up Charged big time for the parts they provided, at that rate their coil packs would have been 635.00 for a set of 4...big RIP OFF..so much for being honest

My wife and I experienced a completely unexpected failure of our alternator while 70 miles from home. Small Town towing lined us up with owner Curtis at Charlottesville Tire & Auto. They worked us in I the “fast track”. They are very professional, kind and reasonable. We could not have received better service. Charlottesville has a true gem with this business.

We were on vacation, coming off I-64 when a piece of metal went through the right rear tire AND the wheel. VDoT roadside helped us get a spare on. Luckily, the shop was across from the hotel we were staying at that night. Got us in first thing in the morning, found a matching wheel at a nearby junkyard, and got it and a new tire on by 4 pm so we could get back on the road, all for a reasonable price.

I’ve been taking my family’s cars to Charlottesville Tire and Auto for years. They are always friendly and efficient. The estimates are always right and the prices are very reasonable. It’s wonderful to have a place I can trust!
