I am so thankful for the staff and community at Crescent Gardens! My mom has lives in the long-term care community. The staff is absolutely amazing. The daily routines help create stability and peace of mind, and include a variety of fun activities. The meals are delicious! Special music performances, seasonal events and and community outings are definitely highlights! However, the real magic lies in the daily interactions. Everyone my mom comes in contact with throughout the day, from the nurses and care aids to the maintenance and food service staff, make sure she feels seen and heard. Our mother began her 3+ years, longterm care journey in September 2022, until she passed away in October 2025. During that time we found the nurses, care aides and all the other professional support staff to be compassionate, responsive and respectful in their personal care of our mother. Dr Samoil was especially sensitive to my mother and our family as we navigated the days leading up to her passing. The caring staff also provided emotional, mental and physical support to not only our mother, but the family as well. You won't find a care home with staff who are kinder, more attentive or loving towards the residents. My grandma lived out her last few years at crescent gardens. Staff saw her transition from independent living to the care floor in a compassionate, supportive way. Staff were attentive and checked in very regularly, sometimes for a purpose, but often just to connect and make her feel cared about. The whole facility is clean and well cared for, making it feel like home. On the care floor, rooms are big enough to feel like a living space instead of a hospital room. The nurses and staff at Chartwell Crescent Gardens brought joy to my mother's life right up to the last day. Teresa lived in the Retirement Community for about six years - five in assisted living and a little more than one year in long term care. She was treated with dignity, respect and friendship. The nurses and staff genuinely adored her, and she loved chatting with them about family, friends and travel. Everybody was responsive and attentive to her needs and wishes, and they encouraged her to participate in activities around the Residence, which she truly appreciated and enjoyed. My grandmother recently moved into long-term care at Crescent Gardens, and from day one, I’ve been impressed. The rooms are large and clean, and there are lots of activities that my grandma loves to attend. Most importantly, the staff here are simply amazing! I can't say enough good things about the wonderful team at Crescent Gardens. The care aides and nurses are all so friendly and helpful—they’ve truly gone above and beyond to make my grandma feel valued and ensure her comfort. Despite some initial concerns about leaving her old apartment, my grandma was immediately happy here. She constantly tells us how kind everyone is and what an incredible place it is.
