Whitecliff

So far I have only great things to say about the staff at Whitecliff. Our family felt hesitation about transitioning our mother into a retirement residence, but that ended on her first day there. The people there are so kind and so helpful that our mother was happy in her new home within the week. She has lived there for a year now and is active in yoga classes, bridge, the walking group etc, as well as the many activities Whitecliff organizes (ice cream days, concerts, afternoon tea). If we had known what an excellent experience Whitecliff offers, we would have suggested she move there sooner.

We are so happy we discovered Whitecliff and chose it for my Mom - she's been there 6 months now and is having the most fun she's had in years! The atmosphere is warm & welcoming and the staff is top-notch. My Mom loves the meals and the wonderful entertainment and music concerts and more. Thank you for creating a fun & safe atmosphere for my Mom to thrive!

All of the staff at Whitecliff did an excellent job caring for my 97 year old father. I am his only child and live 2,000 miles away. The wonderful employees at Whitcliff tended to his needs in a very professional manner. I was always informed as my fathers needs or condition changed. His final breath was at Whitecliff via the MAID program and the health care staff diligently kept things rolling smoothly. I highly recommend Whitecliff to anyone looking for a comfortable place to live.

Our community organization, Christmas on the Peninsula, was treated to a dinner meeting.. Beautiful white tablecloths and napkins, lovely centrepieces, salad, a menu of 3 dinner choices, wine, choice of several delicious desserts all graciously presented and served. Most elegant (and tasty). As we left we saw pockets of people doing puzzles, cards and just visiting. Impressive.

My mom is in the full-care unit at Whitecliff and has been there for almost two years. While it's been hard to be away from her during Covid I have been so grateful for the peace of mind that Whitecliff provides. We know she is well cared for, happy, and blissfully (she suffers from dementia) unaware of the hardships the rest of us are dealing with at this time. The staff at Whitecliff are warm, highly skilled, and have taken the safety and wellness of their guests very serious during this time. We highly recommend Whitecliff and are so happy with the experience we have had over the past two years.
